Who we are
bebop is run by Chloe and Pont Limited, registered in England & Wales (company no. 10807600), Unit 9–10, 8 Hornsey Street, London N7 8EG. We're the data controller for the personal information described here.

What we collect
- Booking details: your name, phone number, email, appointment history and any notes you add when you book.
- Consultation records: notes about your hair or nails, the products and formulas we use, and patch test results. This can include health information, such as allergies or skin sensitivities, which we only record so we can treat you safely.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, WhatsApp or Instagram.
- Payments: we're card only. Card payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- Photos: pictures of your hair or nails, only with your permission.
Why we use it
- To book, run and follow up your appointments (to perform our service to you).
- To keep you safe, for example patch tests and allergy notes (with your explicit consent).
- To keep financial records we're legally required to keep.
- To send you offers or news, only if you've opted in. You can opt out at any time.
- To share photos of our work on our website or socials, only if you've said yes. You can change your mind at any time.
We never sell your information.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the salon:
- Booking systems: Slick (hair) and Fresha (nails) store your bookings and client records for us.
- Payment providers, to take card payments.
- Our accountant, for our financial records.
- Meta (WhatsApp and Instagram), if you message us there.
- Elfsight, which shows our reviews and Instagram feeds on this website, only if you accept cookies.
Some of these companies may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
Cookies
Our website works without cookies. The only optional ones come from Elfsight, which shows our Google reviews and Instagram feeds. Elfsight uses cookies and similar browser storage to run those feeds and to measure how they're used.
Nothing from Elfsight loads until you tap accept on our cookie banner. If you choose no thanks, the reviews and feeds stay hidden and everything else works as normal. We remember your choice in your browser so we don't ask again.
You can change your mind at any time with cookie settings, also linked at the bottom of every page.
The booking buttons take you to Slick and Fresha, which have their own cookie and privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep your client record while you're a client and for up to 6 years after your last appointment, which covers our accounting and insurance obligations. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- see the information we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your information, where we don't have to keep it
- stop or limit how we use it
- send it to you or another provider
- withdraw any consent you've given
Email hello@beboplondon.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We'll update this page if anything changes, and the date at the top will show when.
